Lower your cholesterol Naturally

Last summer, Shaklee introduced a dietary supplement that is helping people lower their cholesterol naturally. It is called Cholesterol Reduction Complex. It is a proprietary formulation with clinically proven ingredients that help prevent absorption of cholesterol and lower LDL (“bad”) cholesterol. The testimonies that are coming in are amazing. On the average it is reducing the bad cholesterol by 10 points per month and increasing the good cholesterol.

The following is Liz H.’s testimony submitted on January 27, 2011: I have been taking Cholesterol Reduction Complex since September 2010. My lifestyle has been the same for years. There was no changes except for the Cholesterol Reduction Complex. My doctor called this afternoon and gave me the cholesterol numbers from my blood test Tuesday. My fasting Status Cholesterol went from 242 (in July) to 198. My HDL went from 50 to 58. My LDL went from 166 to 116. I said that this was due to Shaklee’s new Cholesterol supplement. He said, “This stuff really works” Shaklee came out with Cholesterol Reduction Complex last summer. People have been having wonderful results. It is approved by the FDA. It contains natural Sterols and Stanols found in plants. It delivers 2000 mg, which is the amount recommended by the National Institutes of Health (NIH). How exciting to have a natural way to raise your good cholesterol and lower your bad cholesterol WITHOUT ANY NEGATIVE SIDE EFFECTS. Cholesterol Reduction Complex can be used with your statin drugs. Be sure to work with your doctor and hopefully you can get off your statin drug.

Please read the Attachment (above) for more life changing short stories from other testimonies on:

Allergies

Cancer

diarrhea

Skin problems

Diabetes neuropathy

Digestion – gluten intolerance

pma – mood swings

cholesterol

COPD

migraines

joint health

autism

weight, gas, bloating

Are you getting enough Vitamin D3?

80% of Americans are deficient of Vitamin D, chances are you may not be getting the recommended daily amount. Recent research studies show that Vitamin D, also known as “the sunshine vitamin” offers a multitude of important benefits, including supporting healthy heart functions, immune health, and bone health.

Who is affected by Vitamin D Deficiency?

Vitamin D deficiency can be a serious problem in anyone, at any age. However, there are certain factors that increase the risk and chances of vitamin D deficiency. Vitamin D deficiency can vary depending on the following criteria: where you live studies have shown that people living at higher latitudes (where the sun’s rays are unable to provide adequate amounts of UV light) are more likely to contract and die from Hodgkins lymphoma and cancers such as colon, pancreatic, ovarian and breast. the time of year Vitamin D deficiency is more common in fall and winter when the sun is less prevalent skin color olive-skinned or darker individuals are more prone to Vitamin D deficiency The amount of sun exposure you get each day for optimal health, it is recommended that you get at least 20 minutes of sun exposure each

day your weight overweight individuals are at a higher risk for vitamin D deficiency How often you eat fish and other vitamin D fortified foods oily fish is full of vitamin D; its a great way for your body to get it. How often you exercise the less you exercise, the less energy you have which is low to begin with if you are lacking in vitamin D. Shaklee has done over 300 quality tests on their supplement Vita-D3 to insure it is safe and is clinically supported and proven to significantly raise blood levels of vitamin D. Give me a call, send me an email or check out our website if interested in any of the Shaklee supplements or have any questions.

Today we toured the new University of Minnesota Amplatz Children’s Hospital Facility!

When you walk into the front entrance of the hospital their is a wall off to the right side that thanks generous benefactors for their gifts of $100,000 or more. There are not that many listed on that wall and I’m proud, VERY PROUD to be part of Isaac’s Foundation as our name is on that wall!

Check out the photo: http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/isaaclieser/photos/entry/num/1

It will be open by the end of April 2011. The new 227,000 square-foot facility gives families access to more than 50 medical specialties in one convenient location. Here, our doctors will treat patients with common to complex medical conditions.

University of Minnesota Amplatz Children’s Hospital is an academic medical facility. That means our doctors treat patients, teach medical students and conduct research to discover new treatments!

Levels 5 & 6 is the Medical Surgery floor. Here, doctors will care for children who are being treated for cancer, and for children undergoing surgery for conditions related to their heart, lungs, kidneys or digestive tract.

- Each 390-square-foot patient room includes three special zones – caregiver, patient and family – allowing for care that is safe, effective and patient and family-centered.

Level 4 is the Blood and Marrow Transplant (BMT) floor. University of Minnesota doctors performed the world’s first successful pediatric BMT to treat cancer in 1968. We offer one of the world’s largest, most experienced and accomplished BMT programs.

Level 3 is the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). Doctors in the PICU care for critically ill patients, including children who undergo organ transplants and major surgeries, are on a heart-lung bypass machine or are severely injured in accidents.

- Alcoves are located outside each patient’s private room. The alcoves are surrounded by glass, which allows the care team to chart while maintaining direct view into a child’s room.

Level 3 is also the Perioperative Services floor. Each year at University of Minnesota Amplatz Children’s Hospital, our surgeons perform more than 4,000 pediatric surgeries.

Level 2 is the Sedation/Observation floor. The ovservation unit will offer care for children who don’t need immediate hospitalization but might require further tests, treatments or monitoring.

Level 2 is also the Emergency Department and Trauma Services floor. Our emergency medicine doctors will care for children 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

- We have an emergency department entrance that is visible from the street thanks to the illuminated glass room directly above the entryway on 24th Avenue.

Level 2 is also the Imaging floor. Imaging is located on Level 2, giving emergency medicine doctors quick and easy access to X-rays, CT Scans, MRI’s and other diagnostic equipment.

- The imaging unit has a room decorated in an “under the sea” theme, featuring twinkle lights on the ceiling to help calm and distract young patients.

Level 2 is also the Kidney Center. Dialysis machines are used to treat individuals whose kidneys are failing. Ours is the first dedicated pediatric dialysis unit in the Upper Midwest.

Level 2 also has a Family Resource Center. Filled with natural light, the Family Resource Center in the lobby is designed to provide families with a comfortable place to find reliable information and support their needs to cope with their child’s illness and hospitalizations.

- The Family Resource Center has computers specially programmed for children’s material, so that children and teens may research their own illnesses, or even update their Facebook status.

Level 1 is Rehabilitation Services. The Rehabilitation team includes occupational therapists, physical therapists and speech-language pathologists who care for children with physical, cognitive and developmental limitations.

This new space includes:

- A feeding clinic, where children with eating difficulties can see a speech therapist, occupational therapist, and a dietitian, all in one visit.

- A low sensory room, including a dark, calming environment for over-stimulated or hyperactive children.

- A therapy gymnasium, including fun features such as swings, a climbing wall and zip line.

- Viewing areas where parents can observe their children interacting with therapists.

- Family-friendly features, including wireless Internet and heated underground parking.

New Facility Facts:

- Dirt excavated from the hospital construction site was used in building the new Minnesota Twins’ stadium.

- The area of the ductwork in the new hospital is equivalent to 202,730 standard cookie sheets or 608,190 license plates.

- There are 330 clocks in the new hospital.

- Construction crews installed 41.1 miles of pipe (includes plumbing, fitting and fire-protection pipe.) This is equivalent to the distance between the hospital and the City of Monticello.

- There are more than 1,500 light switches in our new facility – that’s more than the amount in 80 average-sized homes.

Hi Everyone, I want to share with you that Isaac’s Foundation has partnered with Shaklee and Watkins to help generate a more consistent revenue for Isaac’s Foundation.

We all buy cleaning products, health care products, – food and grocery items. Did you know that the average family spends up to $1200 per year on household cleaners, personal care products, food supplements and vitamins, and weight management systems? Between 85% to 90% of Americans would switch brands to support a particular cause. With your help we could generate a steady flow of income to Isaac’s Foundation to help with cancer research for children. Isaac’s Foundation will receive anywhere from 15 – 30% of sales generated each month from these two companies. Both Watkins and Shaklee are companies that offer a great line of products that are safe, natural products, both have a money back guarantee if you are not satisfied with any of their products.

If each family would redirect some of their monthly spending on their household products we could generate a substantial amount each month to Isaac’s Foundation. For example: If an organization has 20 people who spent about $100 a month – would equal about $2000 worth of product purchased at 15 – 30% income generated for the non-profit. That amounts to $300 – $600 each month the non-profit would receive in a check. The potential could be even greater if each of those 20 people got 5 people to do the same, that would be $12,000.00 in product purchased with income generated for the non-profit of $1,800.00 to $3,600.00.

Isaac’s Foundation…where hope begins would appreciate it if you would take a few moments to check out their websites with Watkins and Shaklee. Watkins has been around since 1868 and Shaklee since 1956, the longevity of the companies show they are doing something right.

They offer products that are safe, natural and work.

Isaac’s Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to educate and raise awareness of Childhood
Cancer and help fund research projects.

The vision of Isaac’s foundation is to find a corporate sponsor(s) that will display on their
products the Gold ribbon symbol giving the visibility to childhood cancer that it
deserves in HOPES to educate all people across the world.

How you can help make a difference in the life of a child and their family affected by Childhood Cancer… Simply check out www.isaacsfoundation.org for their upcoming events and fundraising projects. Our next largest Fundraiser is coming March 26, 2011, “Chili Feed” at Gerard’s in Sauk Centre. Throughout the year Isaac’s Foundation has various fundraising events to support our donations towards Childhood Cancer Research. Your support and contributions make all the difference in Isaacs Journey Foundation and are greatly appreciated.

For the last year Michaelle Fickler of Norfolk, Nebraska has been doing just that, supporting the cure for Childhood Cancer in HOPES of advancing research for JMML. Michaelle has been selling “The HOPE Cookbook”, a production of Isaac’s Foundation for the last year. For every cookbook sold 100% of the proceeds support Childhood Cancer Research on behalf of Isaac’s Foundation in collaboration with the University of MN. Through Michaelle’s cookbook sales Isaac’s Foundation has donated $2.00 of each cookbook Michaelle sold to the JMML Foundation in honor of Michaelle’s son Lane. Michaelle and her husband Greg have 5 boys, from 15 years to 4 months in age. At just 9 months of age their 3rd child Lane was diagnosed with NF1 (neurofibromatosis) and JXG as well as JMML (Juvenile Myelomonocytic Leukemia), a rare type of childhood cancer. JXG is a skin condition that Lane will hopefully out grow with age, but JMML was the battle of his life.

During the course of Lanes treatment he had 2 bone marrow transplants, a complete spleenectomy, total body radiation and chemotherapy, cataracts, numerous blood and platelet transfusions, medications that continue today and many, many other procedures and surgeries. Lane has feeding problems and has had a G-Tube in his stomach since March of 2007. Lane does not eat or drink normally due to his aspiration problems.

Lane was given a 0% chance of survival, but the love of his family pulled him through this very painful and heartbreaking time. After Lane’s parents signed DNR papers (Do Not Resuscitate) and were sent home on hospice Lane was in tremendous pain and barely breathing, but he convinced his family he was a fighter yet and wasn’t going to give up! Today Lane is a smart, loving 5 ½ year old boy! While Lane is still with us today the side affects of his treatment has left Lane and his family with multiple challenges. To read more about Lane and his full story log onto: www.caringbridge.org/visit/lanefickler

JMML Leukemia makes up 1% of all Leukemia’s, about 3 in 1 million kids get JMML. The JMML Foundation exists to find a cure for JMML, and to improve the quality of life of JMML patients and families through research, education, advocacy, and charity. (http://www.jmmlfoundation.org)

Everyone that is a part of Isaac’s Foundation brings with them a strong passion for the cure for cancer. We fight hard and we work hard to change the future of this horrific disease. Ultimately our goal is a cure, but in getting a cure we need better treatments. Far too many children and their families are affected by cancer. The incidence of cancer is on the rise in children and adults and it is not because of population. We all know of someone who has been affected. In the group photo there are 4 children alone that have battled cancer. Ryan, from Sauk Rapids, (far left) battled Ewing’s Sarcoma, a type of childhood bone cancer. Currently Ryan is NED, which means as of right now he has “No Evidence of Disease”. Next to Ryan is Gavin from Cold Spring. Gavin battled Neuroblastoma at just 6 months of age and to date remains Cancer Free. The little girl in the photo is Jocelyn from Belgrade. She is battling her disease for the 2nd time as she has relapsed. She has Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma, which is a soft muscle tissue type of cancer. Next to Jocelyn is Tanner, from Kensington, Tanner had a type of brain tumor called Medullablastoma. Currently Tanner is NED, but this does not go without lasting effects. Unfortunately the side effects of the current treatments in place for cancer are very harsh and leave harmful permanent side effects. Ryan is dealing with his kidney’s not functioning fully like they should. Jocelyn is still in the battle of her life, before her treatment started they told her parents that even if she survives her disease, in which they give her less then 10% of long term survival she will never be able have a child of her own. Tanner is left with cataracts needing eye surgery as well as other delays. And what about the children who are not in that photo that should be. Kim Buntjer of Long Praire lost her daughter in 2001 at 5 years of age. Josh and Linda of Sauk Centre lost their son in 2008 at age 2 1/2 and Josh’s sister lost her life at age 3 ½ just 24 years prior in 1984 to the same cancer. Just one child, one sibling, one parent, one grandparent or even one friend or neighbor is knowing too many affected by cancer.

Isaac’s Foundation supports the cure of all types of Childhood Cancer. Isaac’s Foundation developed from the passing of cancer patient Isaac Matthew Lieser, son of Josh and Linda Lieser of Sauk Centre, MN. Isaac passed away from a type of childhood cancer called Neuroblastoma at age 2 ½ years old after a courageous 9 month battle. Since the Foundation began in January of 2008 100% of the proceeds raised by Isaac’s Foundation thus far has donated more than $45,000 to the University of MN strictly for Childhood Cancer Research. Recently the team of volunteers and supporters of Isaac’s Foundation got together and for the 2010 year is proud to share they are again making another donation, this time for $30,000! Now raising their total donated dollars to more than $75,000 to the University of MN to fund Childhood Cancer Reserach, along with $120.00 to the JMML Foundation to fund JMML Research! Linda Lieser, Mrs. Worldwide Queen of HOPE 2010-2011 as well as Founder and Executive Director of Isaac’s Foundation said, “it is a far cry from a cure for children that suffer and die every day from this horrific disease, but we take great pride in knowing that our team’s dedication of hard work and continued support will make a HUGE part of a big difference in advancing the treatment and cure for childhood cancer, hopefully one day enabling all children to live a long, happy and healthy life just the way a child was meant to. On behalf of Isaac’s Foundation we’d like to thank all the businesses and individuals for their continued support for Isaac’s Foundation and to the countless volunteers that help with each fundraising effort, all your hard work is what makes our success for the future of all our children possible. Thank you!”
