Medical Foundation at the University of Minnesota, where physician-scientists have helped to increase the survival rate for pediatric cancer patients from 10 percent in 1959 to 85 percent today. However there is certainly more work to be done. Many pediatric cancers still have survival rates of less than 10%. For nearly a century, the University of Minnesota has
led the world in pediatric cancer advances.
